Going to NC to visit my son today. He's getting promoted to Sergeant tomorrow! He has been a Marine almost 3 1/2 years and moving through the ranks at a fast pace. Yep, this momma is so very proud of him.
It's funny now to look back at when he first enlisted. I was so upset and worried and had constant migraines the 3 months he was in boot camp. He was in Japan for 2 years after finishing bootcamp and training and now in the states for 10 months. I so enjoy the time I get to spend with him now - what a wonderful man he has become.
Today I am thankful for all our service men and women who give their ALL to ensure that we enjoy the freedoms that we have. God Bless you.
